Solarcom (Aust) Pty Ltd is a major designer and installer of alternative energy systems, principally in the Central West area of New South Wales, Australia. We hold Full Accreditation as Designers and Installers of Renewable Energy Systems with the Australian Business Council for Sustainable Energy (Accreditation No. FD1562)

The company specialises in:

• Solar Grid-tie systems
• Solar Assist systems
• Solar Hot Water systems
• Solar rural water pumps

A full back-up service is standard on all systems to ensure the highest level of operational efficiency.

The company has been operating since 1991. Bruce Hannam, the founder and Principal, saw the potential of solar energy in the early 90s, and has used his expertise to construct hundreds of energy supply systems based on this technology. Most systems are stand-alone solar RAPS, but also LPG powered back-up generator systems where mains power is unreliable. For mains power connected sites, Solar Assist systems have been developed to run selected household circuits, thus saving on electricity bills. Unlike most grid-tie systems, Solar Assist supplies power during blackouts.

Solarcom has installed many smaller sized solar pump systems, up to 7000 Litres perday for bore hole pumps, and up to 25,000 Litres per day for surface water pumps.

Solarcom has designed and is constructing an all solar powered 24' electric vessel (with sea going capability).
