| SOLAR
ASSIST |
| (These
systems can be used a simple solar stand-alone system
for off grid uses)
A
better way for those wanting more than a grid-tie system.
Solar panels on your roof will collect sunlight and
store the energy in accumulators, ready for use in the
house when lights or selected appliances are used. Unlike
most grid-tie systems, Solar Assist replaces the grid
when active, and therefore can provide valuable lights
and power during blackouts. Extra power is always held
in reserve for blackouts!
When
the Solar Assist System takes over, you save money on
your power bill, as the power system replaces the grid
supply. The Federal and State Governments (through the
Australian
Greenhouse Office and SEDA)
also subsidise the cost of the solar panels to approved
applicants.
Package
options available are carefully selected to utilise
as much of the available solar energy as possible. Smaller
packages can be up-graded later, but the rate of subsidy
will be reduced on the up-grade. Packages can also
be used as a basic solar stand-alone system where
mains power is not available or too expensive to connect.
All
packages include cost of installation within Central
West region of N.S.W.
